Getting in touch
Voima is made by Severi Reivinen, one person rather than a company.
Questions, bugs and requests all go to the same place — support@voimapp.com.
If you are reporting something that went wrong, the most useful things to include are what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Your iOS version and iPhone model help too.
I forgot my password
Open Voima and go to Settings → Account. Enter your email address in the sign-in form, then tap Forgot password? underneath it. The link that arrives opens a page where you can choose a new password. It works once, and expires an hour after it is sent.
Confirming your email address
When you create an account, Voima emails you a link to confirm the address. The link expires a day after it is sent. Your account works whether or not you open it; confirming is what lets a password reset reach you. To get a new link, open Voima, go to Settings → Account, and tap Send a new link.
Do I need an account?
No. Voima works fully without one, and your training log is stored on your phone. An account exists so that the log can be on more than one device, and so that it survives losing a phone.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. The app reads and writes its own database on the phone, so it never waits for a network. If you have an account, changes are synchronised whenever a connection is available.
Deleting your account
Account deletion is in the app, under Settings → Account, while you are signed in. It removes everything held on the server. The copy on your phone is deliberately left in place — your history stays readable and simply stops synchronising. Delete the app if you want that copy gone as well.
Privacy
What Voima collects, and what it does not, is set out in the privacy policy.
